Horrendous experience

Nothing disgusting property photos to prove mould everywhere dirty cooker ,dirty fridge ,pubic hairs around pedestal of toilet cracked and parts missing from shower room floor door bar not screwed down curtains hanging off in.lounge plaster and paint falling off wall near patiodoors,the place should not be advertised at all

I did nit like anything about the property and if recent photos advertised the place no one would rent it at all disgusting dirty place

Great location, gorgeous view

Coastview Cottage is in a great location with a gorgeous sea view. We needed a last-minute, dog-friendly overnight stay and this was perfect. The TV is impressive, it has all the basics and the bed in the main bedroom is really comfortable. It's tucked away, but easy to find if you follow the host's directions. If you're staying in Pendine, Lotus Chinese Takeaway is delicious and Stone Range Cafe, a five minute drive away, does the most amazing breakfasts!

I think it depends on what you're looking for, because it is relatively inexpensive for the area and size of the property. With that, comes a house that needs some TLC, upgrading and a deep clean. For example, there are two plug in heaters and no other heating source. The living room warmed up with those heaters but then upstairs was colder. We stayed in mid-October so it was fine, but over winter it could be a challenge. It was clean enough for a night and we had a takeaway, but the fridge was a bit grubby and most of the mugs were chipped which are small grumbles but it makes a difference to how you feel about a place. I read all of the reviews and, having read the ones about cleanliness in particular, I was pleasantly surprised by the house when we arrived... but it's all relative!

Quiet, great location, clean, lots of potential but needs a bit of love

It was quiet, great views and location was perfect for what we wanted. Lots of clean towels and little touches like shower gel & washing up liquid , hairdryer and flowers were very nice.

It was very dated and the outside space could have done with a table and general tidying, weeding etc , it just felt a little unloved . With updated decor and furniture this place could be stunning.

A relaxing stay with a good view .

We liked the sea view .

The cottage wasn't ready when we arrived at 4pm , so we had to go away and come back . Also cottage was quite tired and some of it needed updating .

Enjoyed ourselves!

Loved the location and views. Loved that everything was there topped up and more, ready for us. Loved the quietness and safe atmosphere! Having the little garden was great too! Very friendly and accommodating host! Will definitely be considering coming again.

Unfortunately there was hair left in the downstairs shower that I had to clean. There was also some other dusty areas inside the property.

Was exactly what we needed, just sad we couldn’t arrive earlier, would have loved to utilise the whole time available.

Lovely position & view. Comfy beds. Perfect set up.

Quiet Grsat View. needs a neutral revamp

the view was incredible. it was quiet. the wild strawberries roses and honeysuckle growing were charming. it was clean and smelt clean.

the piles of leaflets the cluttered cupboards gave a sense of people living there. that and the furniture and decor choices especially in the main bedroom made us feel uneasy. it's a shame that we were so sensitive to it. but we couldn't relax.

Beautiful, quiet location with spectacular views

Wow what a beautiful view and the weather we’ve just had couldn’t have been timed better!! Cottage had everything we needed to make it home from home. 10mins down road is an amazing chippy and Pendine sands where you can walk dogs. Tide goes out miles. We will definitely be returning. Thank you ☺️

It was a perfect choice!

The cottage had stunning views to the sea, surrounded by greenery and was like heaven to have our coffee outside in the morning. The beach was 15 min walk. The house was well equipped and comfortable; we all had great sleep! We will definitely return.

Nothing really, but if I had some suggestions for improvement it would be to update the kitchen hobs to induction ones and improve the WiFi. For our short weekend stay these were not that important.
