La fenêtre d’une des salles de bain ne fermait pas complètement. Donc un peu froid la nuit, et cela créait des courants d’air, même avec les portes des chambres fermées. (Séjour en hiver)

Absolutely stunning view from the balcony! Very cool host Marco has welcomed us with Madeira vine and cake as well as provided us with the all information needed. Also there is a perfect private spot to park the car on the 0 level. Big and clean swimming pool and small cozy cafe “Jardim” in the building, where you can get tasty sandwiches “prego” with the freshly made local poncha;) - different types so try them all!)

The location was great and the host really kind and available! We had a really warm welcome and a good time!

The apartment had a good layout and a nice terrace.

I must say I'm disappointed. This wa supposed to be a highly rated apartment but I cant understand why... first of all the amenities in the apartment were old, or quite basic for example the washing machine made so much noise that it felt like it is going to break. There was no normal coffee machine, only the capsule one. There were 4 cups, when we were 4 adults with a child, there was basically very few cutlery. - We did not have a second set of keys for few days and the door bell to the front door was not working for a week or more. - The pool was under maintenance for a week during our 2 week stay. - There was no extender chair on the balcony. - Bath didn't had a normal cork (it did not fit) and water was leaking so taking a bath was also a ti.e challenge. Although water pressure was good. - There weren't any cleaning products to wash bathroom or tend to the apartment - we had to buy our own CIF - the showers were not very clean - beda and pillows were also not comfortable - during the day there was some construction going in the condominium that made us feel like we are at the construction site all day The Caniço region looks very close to the airport but don't be fooled, connection by public transport is almost non existent. Buses go to funchal only, there is no direct bus to airport. Either you need a car or rely on unreliable Uber. Taxi company wanted to charge 35 eur for a transfer to an airport for an early flight. I am sorry to have to leave a review like this but I expected much better from a highly rated booking property. It did not meet our expectations Although I cannot say it ruined our stay. Madeira is extremely beautiful place and at least that still met our expectations :)
