Masseria Soluco

Our stay at Masseria Soluco was probably the highlight of our time in Puglia. The grounds are tranquil and serene, surrounded by olive trees and a gentle breeze. The farmhouse has all the character of rustic simplicity but with modern touches. Our room was huge and so comfortable. The beds were better than any of the hotels or airbnbs we stayed in on our trip. The pool was the perfect place to relax and lounge. Above all else, however, is the hospitality and service of the owner, Ivan. He goes above and beyond what you could imagine. We traveled with our 7 year old daughter and he was so sweet, offering her ice cream, introducing her to the cats, offering us snacks and lunch when he'd see us, even at times that may not have been convenient for him. My daughter loved the place so much, she asked is SHE could write the review. This is what she has to say about the place: "I am a 7 year old. I loved this place. If you have a child, this is a perfect place. There are 5 cute cats, a pool, and the comfiest room. The cats names are Geronimo, dancing cat, jumping cat, big boss, and ?? By Violet <3 "

家族でのプーリア旅行で利用しました。モノポリ（Monopoli）周辺で家族4人が宿泊できる雰囲気の良い宿泊施設がなかなか見つからなかった中、こちらは正解でした。プーリアらしいカントリーサイドのインテリアが良かったです。また、ホストの方が地元食材を使った温かいおもてなしをしてくださり、心からリラックスして過ごすことができました。プールも貸切状態で、家族での時間をゆっくりと満喫できました。

人里離れた静かなロケーションがこの宿の大きな魅力ですが、少し注意が必要です。Googleマップ上ではモノポリまでそれほど時間がかからないように見えましたが、実際にはくねくねとした山道を通るため、少し遠く感じました。車は必須であり、夜間の暗い山道の運転が気にならない方であれば、それを上回る素晴らしい体験ができるはずです。

Ivan is so kind and his hospitality is outstanding. Only for this we would come back 100%.

Immersa tra gli ulivi, la Masseria Soluco è un'oasi di serenità. Un approdo felice dopo ogni giornata trascorsa a visitare la splendida Val d'Itria, i borghi sul mare come Polignano e Monopoli o le incantevoli calette della costa pugliese . Una masseria d'altri tempi, che con la sua torretta campanaria si incastona tra mare e collina, tra verde e cielo. E' stata ristrutturata da pochi anni, lasciando tutto intatto, a partire dalla splendida chiesetta, sempre aperta, presenza viva e sentinella discreta. Camere ampie, spaziose, dove si unisce con sapienza antico e moderno, pietra e calce, paglia e legno. Si arriva attraverso una stradina stretta e sterrata ed è subito pace, con un tuffo in piscina (anch'essa immersa tra ulivi e alberi da frutta) e una merenda offerta dal mitico Signor Ivan. Per la verità, è lui l'anima di Soluco: non solo host gentile e ospitale, molto di più, un amico che ti coccola e ti fa sentire in famiglia. Meriterebbe una recensione a parte. Alla fine, nonostante le meraviglie che si sorgono nei dintorni, non vorresti più andartene e trascorrere le vacanze qui. Inutile dire che lasciare questo posto è stato difficile. Ma...ci ritorneremo. Grazie Ivan!
