Apartment Vito

The property is small, but well-equiped - perfect for 2 people. I only stayed for one night but the bathroom was new and clean, as was the kitchen. Others have complained about a lack of natural light, and it is true, but it didn’t bother me because I was outside during the day. Bed was comfortable and the bedroom was large and had storage space. Wifi worked well. The aircon was good, however it is located in the living/dining room so it does not flow into the bedroom well. Lots of tourist information/brochures provided.

Check-in could have been clearer - the entrance is around the back of the property, and the only reason I found it was because another person who lived in the apartment building happened to see me and helped me. There are no photos of the facade of the complex so I didn’t even know if I had the right building. Parking can be a problem as you will probably need to park a bit away from the property and walk up either stairs or a steep street to get to the property, however this is just the reality of properties in a mountainous town like Rijeka. The courtyard in the photo is shared and doesn’t look as nice as the photos. Blockout blinds in the bedroom would be good too.

Very pleasant overnight stay in a well-equipped apartment and thank you for the directions to get there.

Beware: not suitable for people with moving difficulties ( elderlies, or with young children or simply not fit) or with heavy/many luggage due to the many, many stairs to reach it!
