    Well maintained and clean rooms with exceptional views. Best part was the hot water shower where you don't get easily in the top part of Uttarakhand. The food was also excellent. Seamless checking process. Heads off to the Manager, cooking staff as well as the room service staff

    I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms offer stunning views. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended…

    It was a fantastic stay at faraway cottage… the name faraway is meant “far a way from” I guess, it’s 14km from joshimath… I do not have anything to compliant about this hotel, views are just amazing like you are in another planet, modern cottage … beautiful, staffs are super amaizing, the manager Mr kishore, accompanied us to the room upon check-in to introduce the room /property, high class service… I only have I think to suggest, probably this property should allow customers to pay upfront using credit card during booking, since the option available during booking was “payment collected by property” and no direct payment option, there was abit hassle to settle the payment as the credit card payment was failed despite several attempt… I will definitely go here again if I get another chance ❤️❤️❤️
