    Was there for 2 days Sadly it's not even a hotel or a home stay Is a bhoot bangla Bas rooms Bad cots like a dormitory No proper house keeping No attendance no front office No cupboard No wifi Agoda should ban such properties Bad bad choice Not worth

    DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID! Only book this hotel if you want to waste your money! This seems to be a sketchy-rented villa which DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A RECEPTION! The "owner" by his own admission told us that "THIS HOTEL IS NOT FIT FOR JAGANNATH DARSHANARTHIS". There is only ONE security guard that will show you your room and mind you while all of this is happening, the main gate is WIDE OPEN without a LOCK! Security is very sub-par and ITS VERY UNSAFE IF YOU'RE TRAVELLING WITH FAMILY. The floors seemed to be newly painted with low quality paint, and it stained all our socks RED. Only positive thing was that the bathrooms were clean. We missed our Mangal Arti in the Jagannath Temple because the water "ran out" at dawn and the water came back an hour later. Since we were late for our darshan we came back at around 9AM which is also the checkout time. We told the "owner" we will check out at 10AM which is extremely reasonable considering we were late because of this terrible "hotel" in the first place, after which the "owner" was screaming at us through the phone to leave, or he would "kick us out" in a very annoying squeaky voice. I hung up because I couldn't handle that squeaky voice anymore, and we left that sham of a place as fast as we could. I was extremely lucky that I only booked this "hotel" for only 1 night. Cleanliness : 7/10 Water Facilities : 1/10 Behavior of Staff : 0/10 Key Highlights: --Worst option for Jagannath Darshanarthis --No reception --Weak Security --Abhorrent Staff Behavior -- Clean Bathrooms. I wish I could get a refund but alas!
