Scarborough beach break holidays - Unit 2

Location was perfect. Within walking distance of beach.

The proximity of the venue. Not too close to the hustle and bustle of Scarborough yet not too far away. I loved the tranquility of the place and the fact that I didn’t have too much to think about. I just needed to recharge my batteries as they were running on lower than low. After my husband passed away 2 months ago and myself having an accident smashing my shoulder blade and dislocating my arm as well I needed to have some time to think and get ready for the rest of my life.

Everything. But next time I come I’ll be bringing my tiny electric frypan so I can cook my meals.

It was everything we hoped for. Good size for a couple, well designed, great fitout, very clean and comfortable. 10/10 Well located for beach access and easy drive/walk to local restaurants. Good value for what we paid.

We were given the incorrect code to access keys. Ceiling fan only ran on one speed. Bathroom fan turned on but clearly didn't work. One bathroom light didn't work. To use microwave you have to kneel on floor. Absolutely no soundproofing here & there was two children above us which made our stay very uncomfortable at times. Curtain rods on sliding door look terrible. Mismatched /bent hangers in cupboard. No lid on garbage bin. No spare linen at all which was disappointing. No first aid kit as per inventory. Doona on bed did not feel clean & had holes in it. Too many keys & not colour coded which would have made things a little easier. Patio furniture was dirty & uninviting.
