Well-Located Foxdale Stay with Parking

The location was good for us we were visiting the Burghley Horse Show

The property could have been cleaner there were cobwebs and some small spiders in some of the rooms. WiFi was not working therefore the smart TV did not work and the blinds in the front room were broken. The house had a few things wrong with it and could do with these being fixed for a better stay.

It was very clean and tidy. Great location for what we needed!

As it’s advertised as family friendly accommodation, there are a few details that need some attention! As you can request a cot, highchair, etc. for toddlers/children, the lack of stair gates, blanking plugs for electrical sockets and the number of loose cables on the floor in the living room for the WiFi, TV, and Freesat was not child friendly! One major issue…Some windows were sealed making them in-operable, a major health and safety fire hazard, should escape from bedrooms be required!!! Some other minor details which would improve the stay… 1. A plug for the bath! 2. Hand soap and towel in the downstairs toilet. 3. Windows that open and close…NEW window glazing throughout the property. Generally this property needs some an extensive refurbishment!!
