奥武雄温泉　風の森

The room and location were exceptional. The staff were attentive and would provide phone call to check with us if we were ready for our breakfast and dinner and would send a buggy to transfer us to the restaurant. Located on a small hill top surrounded by forest, each room has a unique view and it was from the room design that each room is properly isolated with full privacy, isolation from the nearby highway. We were truly relaxed and immersed ourselves to the surrounding forest. The meals prepared were wonderful and each dish was prepared with care. Taste, presentation and order was done to perfection. Can consider Kaze room which is peaceful for us.

We would hope the ryokan could provide transportation to/from Takeo Onsen and Ureshino Onsen station. That said, we understood the aim of the ryokan was for relaxation (the staff even asked us if we would be relaxing in our room) thus we were willing to forgo travelling out. It was hard to find anything to improve for this ryokan.
