Quirky cosy place!
Precious guests did not clear up after their dogs in the garden, but the property itself was immaculate. We loved it here and would visit again.

The location of the property is excellent. A short walk to the beach and shops, a small park and the village duck pond nearby. The house is lovely, and the area is very quiet. The garden is a very pleasant place to sit in good weather. The property is well equipped, though some items are perhaps due for replacement due to age. We would certainly consider staying here again, but ideally after the negative issues below have been addressed!
Got off to an iffy start when the key code we'd been sent was wrong, but fortunately the lady next door spotted us and knew it! The biggest problem with the property was cleanliness. We spent our first evening cleaning the kitchen; the fridge was missing its bottom door shelf and had food spills etc., the cutlery drawer was filthy so we took everything out and cleaned it thoroughly. We did the oven and worktops too, and removed the black layer of dirt from the tile edgings. The washing up bowl was beyond redemption- I nipped to Tesco in Hunstanton and picked one up for a couple of quid which we used during our stay, and also bought a cheap frying pan. There's an Aga which we didn't use- possibly nobody has ever used it- but it had certainly not been cleaned for a long time judging by the dust we removed. This was an issue throughout the house, dust, cobwebs, dead insects lying in ornamental bowls and so on. Towels were provided, but although clean they were pretty old and worn. Fortunately we took our own as back up. Bedding was also provided; our advice is don't look at the mattress protectors till you leave! The bathrooms were all cleaned to a satisfactory standard, though a couple of the toilet seats have had their day and could do with replacing. All of these issues could- and should- easily be resolved.
