By far the most accommodating and clean house I’ve stayed at. The host was very communicative and friendly. He kept in touch and made sure that everything was smooth throughout our trip. Everything we needed was already provided. I will make sure to rent this house again next time we visit Black Mountain.

This is our second year staying at this cabin. It feels like home now! Comfy furniture, a well stocked kitchen, smores and wine awaited us. My dogs smile said it all! He was able to roam the yard to his hearts content. The host Ed really goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. You won't be disappointed! We'll be back soon!

The cabin is located up a very curvy mountain road. You arrive at the driveway and pull up a leave covered drive to absolute peace and quiet. It had rained the entire day so the yard was nothing but mud. That proved to be difficult for unloading the car as there is no good way to get from the driveway to the door.
The cabin is stocked with everything that you could need for a lovely stay. The kitchen had all of the appliances, pots, pans, utensils, and dishes you could need. There were plenty of towels and paper products, toiletries, and extra blankets. The screened in porch was lovely for morning coffee and listening to the rain.
There is a fire pit and lots of precut firewood. We had bonfires every evening. The gas fireplace inside was nice as well. We didn't use the heat while we were there as it was not super chilly yet, but did turn on the fireplace a few mornings to take the slight chill out of the air. The gas grill was another nice amenity.
There is plenty of room in the cabin and on the property. Our pugs enjoyed being able to roam around freely without worrying about other people or running into someone's else's property.
The cabin was clean and Ed, the owner, was very responsive to questions/concerns. The cabin is about a 20 minute drive to Chimney Rock park and 45 minutes to Asheville.

We had a fantastic time at the cabin. My husband and I took hikes every morning and fires with the kids every night. Great location, convenient to many local attractions. Thanks for a wonderful holiday trip!!
