We planned a week long adventure to South Dakota/Wyoming. We were traveling with two parents, three young adult children, and one teenage child. I was worried it would be difficult to find a nice rental that could comfortably accommodate everyone, be located near all of our planned destinations, have A/C and WiFi - and not break our budget.
When I found this beautiful home in Sturgis which fit all our needs for an EXTREMELY reasonable rate, I have to admit I was a bit leery that it may be too good to be true. After reading all the positive testimonials, we decided to take the plunge - and we are so glad we did!
This did not feel like a rented space...it felt like a HOME.
Upstairs has a roomy, well equipped eat-in kitchen (we wanted to save money by cooking "at home" for at least part of our visit); dining room with large table; very cool living room with comfy leather furniture and smart tv (it's a really beautifully decorated, inviting space); and big shared bathroom (with tub, huge vanity and mirror - a great space for the girls to spread out).
The main floor also has a very large master queen bedroom with bathroom (with both a large tub and shower) and a second queen size bedroom.
Downstairs has a MASSIVE queen size bedroom with two additional twin beds; bathroom with shower, and laundry facilities.
(ALL of the beds were super comfy - great mattresses with lovely bedding)
The yard is lovely with a patio, fire pit, and grill.
The owners were staying in a camper behind the house and were seriously just the NICEST people. We felt so welcome - without feeling watched. They were available for any questions we had.
The keypad lockbox with the front door key made "check in" super easy and there was a helpful binder on the kitchen table explaining everything. At the end of our stay, there was no huge list of tasks for us to do before checkout...just the normal clean up. As we were leaving, we saw the cleaning crew coming in to ready the home for the next renters.
If I could give this home more than five stars, I would. If you're looking for a great, reasonably priced vacation rental located close to all the hot spots (Sturgis/Deadwood, Mt Rushmore, Hot Springs, Devil's Tower, etc...), you couldn't do any better!

Awesome location, very clean and well decorated. House had everything we needed to cook, clean, grill. 4 Old Hogs from Texas had a great reunion. Great property.
