This was the perfect location for our family weekend getaway. We had 6 adults, 1 toddler and 2 babies. This house was verrrry family friendly. There were 2 high chairs and pack n plays. The master closet is large enough that we used it as a nursery with a pack n play.
The open concept living room / kitchen had tons of space for the kiddos to play in while the adults cooked, etc. The kitchen is FULLY stocked with every gadget or appliance you can think of. Air fryer, instapot, crockpot, pots and pans of all sizes, coffee pot, etc.
The beach is so lovely and relaxing. You only see one house next door, but otherwise you have a private beach all to yourselves. It is a rocky beach, so we appreciated that the owners recommended water shoes and bug spray. They are a must. There is tons of seating, a fire pit ready to burn, and a gas fire you can light.
Each bedroom had plenty of space with a king size bed and attached bathroom with tub shower. This was very nice not having to share a common bathroom. There were also pillows, blankets, and extra fans in each room.
We absolutely loved the game room for the kids to play in and it was nice for unwinding in the evening with the adults. The screens for the garage doors have us convinced we need them for our own homes. So cool!
Overall, we highly recommend this spacious property. The owners went above and beyond and even left us a thank you gift bag with a hand written note and treats. You will not regret your decision to book this property!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a truly spectacular vacation rental home on Lake Barkley, and it exceeded all my expectations. Situated right on the water, this property offers breathtaking views and immediate access to all the lake has to offer.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and charm. The home itself is beautifully appointed, with spacious, comfortable rooms and a modern, well-equipped kitchen. The living area opens up to a large deck that is perfect for relaxing and soaking in the serene lake views. Each morning, we enjoyed coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise over the water—a truly peaceful start to the day.
The outdoor space is just as impressive. The private dock is ideal for swimming, fishing, or simply lounging by the water. We spent countless hours enjoying the lake, whether it was taking out the provided kayaks or just floating on a raft. The property also includes a well-maintained lawn and a fire pit, perfect for evening gatherings under the stars.
For family fun, this vacation rental has it all. The game room features a pool table and a ping pong table, providing endless entertainment for all ages. Outside, we enjoyed playing corn hole and had a blast with the assortment of water toys provided for the children. There’s also a variety of board games available, which were a hit during our cozy indoor evenings.
The attention to detail in this home is evident. It’s clear that the owners have put a lot of thought into making sure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rental was impeccably clean and well-organized, and the host instantly answered our questions when we texted.
Overall, this vacation rental on Lake Barkley is a true gem. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with stunning lake views and top-notch amenities, this is the place to stay. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time. Every possible need we could think of during our stay, was available to us. You could tell the owners had thought of everything and wanted us to relax and enjoy our stay!
