We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Even though we reached very late at night, they personally greeted us and made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed right away. That thoughtful gesture really set the tone for a fantastic stay.
The house itself was beautiful and amazingly decorated, with so much attention to detail. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable.
We also really appreciated the host’s recommendations for places to visit and things to do around the area.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would happily stay here again. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming vacation rental!

Another great experience at the MTN Gate guest house. Renae and Vinny are the most accommodating hosts you could ask for. The house is spotless and well equipped. This was our 2nd stay here and we plan to return again in the future. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Stayed at the Mtn Gate house for a fishing tournament. Could not have asked for better hosts. Vinny and Renae are awesome! House was spotless and fully stocked from linens to kitchen utensils. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to stay in the greater Lake Shasta area.
