This was a very lovely lakefront home and exceeded our expectations. The downstairs was finished when we got there and had 2 bedrooms and an additional bathroom. That made our trip even nicer. The lake is beautiful and this house's location is private and quiet. We enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit. We also enjoyed eating all of our meals on the porch with a view of the lake. Dave was a great host and very attentive. We would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was an authentic rustic cabin with newly updated bathrooms and kitchen as well as the newly remodeled basement. The kitchen was well stocked and the owner even dropped off a crockpot for me to use. It was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed using the kayaks and boat. We spent a lot of time on the porch doing puzzles while listening to records on the record player. Our four kids (17-23 yrs old) along with ourselves didn’t want to leave and would definitely come back again. If you like mountain biking the Winman trails are only 15 minutes away, which was a favorite activity for our kids.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was easy to find and had great views from sun room and living room. We used the front porch as much as possible (but we had rain and it was chilly). I appreciate that there was a full size coffee maker along with and the Keurig (which had a large box of coffee and hot chocolate) and many great kitchen features. I found the indoor furniture was very uncomfortable and the steps were very steep. I would definitely go back as Dave was in contact to make sure all was well.
