Positives:
The house was very clean
We appreciated all the salts/pepper/spices that were in the kitchen
The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/dishes
We enjoyed the outside fireplace
The beds were comfortable
Information about nearby hikes were helpful.

We had a family get together with families traveling from Davidson, Sunset Beach & Calabash, NC as well as Chicago & Boston. We had five days & four nights of a great time getting sharing this fantastic mountain home, Mountain Bearadise near Sapphire, NC.
The house was perfect with large open spaces, large decks ( all with wonderful views, a lower floor area perfect for the younger kids running off their energy, and good sleeping accommodations. The many fireplaces were beautiful with the outside upper deck used for s'more in the evening.
We saw a bear one morning circling the house. Thrill to kids!
We saw another at a gas station going thru gas pump trash.
Several deer sighting as well. The location is perfect for exploring water falls, lakes several small towns around for shopping & restaurants.
We would like to thank Pam & Bruce ( so accommodating)for sharing their beautiful place with our family of 10. This home has everything you need plus some (tv's, games, kitchen stocked, sheets, towels, garbage bags, logs & clear instructions & suggested recreation spots & restaurants)!
What a place to make special lasting memories for all!!

We drove seven hours hoping to get a little break from the hustle of our daily lives.
When we drove up to the cabin the view was right off the bat Breathtakingly beautiful!!
When we walked in we could not believe the cabin, or should I say the five star accommodations!!
The house/cabin was extremely clean and everything in its place. The rooms are very big and EVERY room has the most stunning views one could imagine. The house/cabin has everything we needed from cooking, washer/dryer, three fireplaces, and sooo much more! The outdoor deck has three different areas to relax and take in the views. We sat outside in the afternoon and looked over the best Mountain View’s you could imagine.
The area has so much to do and so many hiking area we went on.
When I said we were hoping to get “little break” to relax, we got beyond a little break…. We decompressed beyond all of our expectations. The vibe of the house/cabin itself was so refreshing and relaxing.
Our week at the amazing big, clean, well decorated, well stocked house/cabin is what everyone should experience at least twice a year or more.
We are already looking at our next stay.
Pam and Bruce know how to treat their guest.

If I could rate Mountain Bearadise 10 stars, I would! This cabin is PERFECT for any sized gathering. The cabin is decorated adorably, but with a touch of personalization that really makes it feel like home. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the kitchen perfectly stocked for ANYTHING you'd need, and the views are outstanding. Pam Watt is the most amazing host you could ever ask for - her genuine hospitality truly has you feeling like a guest visiting her home!
This was our second trip to this perfect location and we will be back many more times! Can't recommend highly enough!
