Mostly good. Downstairs bathroom seems to have the water connections reversed on both the sink and the shower controls. Need some instructions or labeling for that.
Older house, stair treads are extremely narrow, and steep in general. Should be mentioned prominently in the ad listing. Could be dangerous for many people.
Need instructions on where and how to put the trash out. No trash can visible on site. Trash can in adjacent parking stall on alley had bearproof latch that was not intuitive, instructions embossed in plastic container were not real clear on how to release the latch, not easy to manipulate...

My mom and I spent a long weekend in Red Lodge here with my two dogs. We have stayed here before. We love the location with proximity to downtown and local amenities. The doggy door is big enough for my Great Pyrenees. The home is clean and well taken care of. The new owners have really made some nice changes. 10/10 definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at the Black Dog Inn! The location was fabulous and the house was super cute and well-appointed. We were traveling with a puppy, so we really appreciated how pet friendly the house was (doggy dog, water/food bowls, fenced yard, dog bed). Steve the owner was super responsive and helpful, great hosts! Would absolutely recommend
