We had such a wonderful time as a family at the Cottage on Lake Sinclair. The hosts were the most accommodating and attentive hosts we have ever had! The property is wonderfully shaded but allows good amount of sunshine and wonderful views of the lake. We spent a lot of time on the dock, the screened porch and out in the yard. The kids took out the available kayaks, played with the inflatable tubes, and fished every morning. This house was close to the grocery store, marinas, and situated ideally on the lake to go by boat in any direction. This quaint property offered so much enjoyment we will definitely be back in the near future.

We enjoyed our lake vacation for the second summer in a row. The owners are very friendly and easy to reach when needed. They have thought of everything to make a family’s visit to their home a wonderful experience, inside and outside. Our children have the most fun swimming and fishing and just being children and can’t wait to go back. This year, we took our puppy and the place is also very pet friendly. We hope to go back again in the future.

They house has a beautiful view of the lake and is about a 30 second walk to their dock. The fire pit provided plenty of heat for roasting marshmallows and hotdogs.
My favorite part was the bird feeder where a variety of birds visited us every day.
The beds were comfortable, the house well stocked with essentials and even little extras like hair bands if you forgot yours. George is very friendly and made staying a breeze. I would love to come back when the weather is warmer to try some swimming!

House was very clean & smelled nice. House had everything we needed from towels to utensils & everything in between. Beach area was great for the littles to play in & made walking into the water very convenient. Yard could use a little TLC. Lots of limbs, twigs & leaves made for mosquito heaven, especially under the kid’s playground. Just make sure you bring lots of bug spray. Playground & fabric hammock & chair were pretty mildewed so couldn’t use them. Screened porch was great to relax on & not have to worry about the mosquitoes. Fans in all the rooms & porch were much appreciated. We rented a boat while there & had no problem with keeping it at the house. Communication with owner was very good & he answered the many questions I had. Overall, we had a very nice & relaxing vacation away from the hustle & bustle of the real world. Would definitely stay here again.
