Clean and cozy cabin. Hot tub seemed to have to many chemicals so we only used it for about 10 minutes during our stay.

This property was extremely clean, comfortable, And cute as can be! Easy check in! We had some travel delays in which we notified our host via phone call. They were understanding and allowed for us to arrive with ease. They checked in to make sure there wasn’t anything we needed.. but everything was in tip top shape so we asked for nothing! The hot tub was heaven. We liked the fact we weren’t in the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg.. it felt tucked away but close enough. We even checked out the local diner.. highly recommend the biscuits! We will most definitely be back! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

The owner of the place is super nice. The location of the cabin is beautiful as it's outside of the tourist trap of Gatlinburg but it's still super close if you want to go. Inside of the cabin is great for 2 people and super clean.

The cabin was very cozy but also really chic and neat. I really liked the modern twist on the overall rustic cottage-style. We very much enjoyed our Barbecue on the porch, watching the campfire by the creek and relaxing in the jacuzzi. The location next to the Great Smoky Mountain national park was also perfect for scenic drives and hiking.

This Little cabin is perfect for a couples getaway! It is quaint but has everything you need. It seems secluded even though there are other cabins near by. It was very clean and well kept and we were checked on regularly (via text) to see if we needed anything. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

This cabin was amazing for a kid-free weekend! We enjoyed the hot tub, the serenity of the creek, and the coziness of the cabin! The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix a few meals. We were close enough but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We explored Pigeon Forge and enjoyed the walking light tour for Winterfest. Plenty of hiking trials nearby as well. Mouse Creek Falls and Midnight Hole were beautiful. The owner checked to ensure everything was going great with our stay. We would give this cabin 5 stars and will recommend to our family and friends!

My wife and I had a great stay at the cabin. Location was great for us being close to hiking trails. Also, a very quite location. Cabin was clean and very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped too so we were able to cook meals in. Highly recommend and would stay again in the future.

This little cabin is a perfect romantic getaway spot, complete with secluded jacuzzi. The attention to detail is nothing short of amazing. This cabin was built with love by an awesome craftsman, with lumber cut on his own sawmill. The natural cuts and wonderful cedar smell please the senses all around. Beautiful accent pieces and natural railings all around complete to rustic look. Very comfortable bed as well. And the treehouse he is building will be every bit as nice, if not even better. And thanks to a previous guest leaving an entry about it, we also tried the Smoky Mountain Adventure UTV tour not far from the cabin, and what a blast that was!

Our 29th wedding anniversary get away was great. When we arrived, there was a complimentary bottle of wine and the hot tub was ready (we had a 6 hr drive). The online pictures pale in comparison to the real thing. The craftsmanship and attention to detail was incredible. The owners were very friendly and lived right next door if we had any issues (which we didn’t). I would love to go back to see the cabin he is building on the other side. I can only imagine how beautiful it will turn out. Thank you again for a great getaway!

We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was perfect. Every little detail in the cabin was thought through. Very Clean, Very organized. It smelled amazing. Took us 20-25 to get to downtown Gatlinburg. Far enough away from everything to have lots of privacy but not too far of a drive to get anywhere. We LOVED it so much and we will come back!

My husband and I loved this beautiful cabin! The attention to detail in craftmanship and cleanliness was absolutely wonderful! The owner made himself available for anything we may have needed, (which was nothing). The hot tub was a great addition to this place, we really enjoyed this amenity. We felt so blessed that I 'happened' upon this little gem, by chance, while browsing on VRBO, while planning our vacation to the Smoky Mountains. Close enough to the Smokies, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, (45 minutes) but far enough away to be secluded/relaxing, from the hustle/bustle of these 2 tourist towns. Would definitely recommend this cabin, which I have actually already done on Facebook to all friends and family! It was so relaxing and rejuvenating. Our only regret was not being able to 'bottle' the calming cedar smell in the cabin and bring it home with us. It was dreamy! P.S. (Much better in person, than the pictures can capture, in our opinion)

Our stay was simply amazing! We enjoyed everything about the cabin and its surroundings. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. If you are truly seeking peace and quiet, this is the place to be. From the glistening creek to the darkest of night, this cabin will remind you of how beautiful our land is.
Kudos to the owners for their hardwork in making the cabin welcoming, cozy and relaxing.

Dave has crafted a perfect base camp for a romantic couples getaway. Every detail of the cabin has been handcrafted by the owner himself. My wife and I marveled at how meticulous everything was inside upon arrival. The smell of cedar greets you at the door and then you start to look around the place. From the personally crafted tables of birch wood to the hand made barn style doors leading to the sleeping area and bath were just a couple of the beautiful details Dave has created. As far as location, just far enough out of the way of the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge but only minutes to the Smoky Mountain National Park. This was by far the best cabin we have ever stayed in and will make our way back someday.

We came up this past weekend for my brother's wedding and this cabin was absolutely precious and just right for the 2 of us! A short drive out of Gatlinburg, this cabin is perfectly nestled off the beaten path, on a creek! The smell of cedar & attention to detail really set this cabin apart! We will definitely consider staying at "Creekside Hideout" again!

The two of us just finished spending a week here. It met all of our expectations. The comfort was plenty, and the amenities everything we needed. It is small, and was perfect for a couple, but adding two more on the sofa bed would probably lessen the experience.
We either motorcycled or hiked all day every day. Being able to cook ourselves a good breakfast and then return to a fantastic hot tub was perfect. Listening to the whip-poor-wills every evening was too much to ask for.
We would definitely consider staying here again.
