We were 6 adults and 4 children, 2-8 y.o. The children stayed in one big bedroom. The huge daytime attractions were the wonderful beach, the large float and all of the watercraft. We noticed while paddling around the lake that most properties did not have a sandy beach area, so this was great to have. We ate lunch out under the pergola and roasted marshmellows at night around the good sized fire pit; the owner provides wood.
The kitchen accommodated all the cooks in the family, the BRs were comfy, and on our one rainy day we played cards and made puzzles on the large d.room table.
We brought our own beach toys for the kids, although there were a few playthings in a large covered bin down by the water; a couple kayak paddles were broken.
Refrig. very clean, totally empty; many spices, oil & vinegar, flour & sugar and other staples in the cabinets. Large flat screen TV over the fireplace, big window view of the pretty lake. We all enjoyed ourselves and hope to return next year! p.s. The owner allowed us to check in 2 hr.s early as the cleaning crew had finished up!

We were a group of 5 adults and 2 young boys (and a dog), and we all enjoyed it tremendously. The house had plenty of rooms/beds to accommodate us - note that one of the bathrooms is only accessible through a bedroom. Everything was in order when we arrived. The house is a truly water front - easy access to the water for launching water crafts or just go for a dip in the water. We used several kayaks and one paddle boat, even though the steering mechanism was broken, so we used an oar as a workaround. It has a water trampoline, alas it was deflated and unusable. The house has several TVs, which we haven't turned on, as we were outdoors most of the time. We had a minor issue with the septic system, which was resolved a few hours after we reported it. The weather was comfortable, so we haven't used the AC. A good chance that we'll return next year.

Our family of 5 adults and 4 teens had a wonderful time here again this year. The house offers comfortable seating and sleeping arrangements for all of us and the outdoor amenities are superior. There were plenty of adirondack chairs and the private beach is a perfect place to soak up the sun. We enjoyed the starry night as we sat around the fire pit after a day of floating lazily on the lake. We all look forward to returning for a 3rd time next year.

As our vacation approached I tried many times to contact our contact person listed the letter we received with our check in info. I started on My 31st with an email followed by text messages then by phone, all with no luck. My many calls to Evolve and VRBO were ignored, with many promises to get back to me still with no luck!
We checked in on June 18th and found the outside unkept, the decks and beach were not ready for use, there was 2 small bags of frozen ice cubes in the freezer but no ice maker or ice cube trays to make more… we are on a beach vacation and can’t even put ice in our drinks! We cooked a steak dinner to celebrate our 1st night but there were only 3 dinner plates (This house slept 14!) and only 2 steak knifes, which we had to share!!!!! We paid $8300 to stay here and it was supposed to have a fully equipped kitchen, which was not true! There was no laundry detergent left in the jug provided, no, extra trash bags which we were told to use, the shower handle kept falling off (it was very heavy and could have hurt someone) the hand soap dispenser in the main bathroom seemed to have been watered down that among other small things just weren’t right for the price we paid !
The worst thing of all though was when I finally got a text message from our contact persons husband, I returned his text with a phone call in which he told me that his wife had died 2 weeks before (how could I complain about his home now)…. I was treated very unfairly and I can’t get any compensation from either Evolve or VRBO since neither one will return a call with the answers I am looking for!!! I feel bad for the next renters !!!
