Tricky keycode lock on side door, wait for green circle before trying top open/enter. If unsuccessful, wait a few minutes to retry. Enjoyed the Resort amenities (especially the clean gym). Next visit we'll try the private lake boat rentals!

What a great house with everything that you need. We loved the view off the decks and the huge cathedral ceiling in the living room. All the systems and appliances worked well. Mountain homes in Sapphire and Cashiers can be very far from all the things you need (Ingles and the businesses at the main Cashiers intersection). This house is well up the mountain but less than 15 minutes to Ingles which is perfect. We loved swimming in Fairfield Lake with us just a couple of minutes away. Enjoy this great house!

The home is very spacious and nice for multi-generations to use. The location is perfect for enjoying the Sapphire/Cashiers/Highlands area and for all that it offers. We have been to the resort before, and liked that we were able to enjoy the amenities without having to be in the time share club. (Although, the price per person age 14 and up is no longer $2 per day, it's $5 per day.) We visited in June when the trees were full of leaves, so we didn't get a great view other than the top of the mountain. There were two bears on the property one evening, so definitely be bear aware and follow protocols. Check-in was easy and Dale was responsive when we had a question during our stay. The only negative for us were the mattresses. No one in our party of 6 enjoyed the beds, they were too lumpy for our needs. Otherwise, we had a great visit and have no other complaints.

We stayed at Sapphire Retreat over Easter. The house was very clean and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a nice bottle of wine when we arrived. The batteries for the auto-lock were dead, so we couldn't get in at first, but Dale was very helpful and had us in the house in no time at all. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated having a ceiling fan in the master bedroom. The lower level rooms were much cooler, especially due to the lower than normal temperatures for April and we appreciated that there were space heaters available for those rooms to take the chill off. The cold weather also allowed us to utilize the fireplace, which we loved having! There were a few small amenities that we would have liked to have, but it didn't change our overall experience. It looks like there was a coffee maker at one point in the house as we found the manual and several filters, but there wasn't a coffee maker that we could find. There were also no sponges for washing dishes in the sink or any tissues in the house. If you stay here, bring sponges and tissues to have, just in case. The mountain views were spectacular, especially in the morning watching the sun rise over them. We were able to take advantage of using the amenities at the resort (due to a full day of rain) and grateful that we had that option, we really enjoyed the pool and game room.
