There was plenty of room. We had ample parking for 3 trucks and boat trailers. The sleeping arrangements were perfect with King/twin, full/twin, 3 twins and bathroom in each bedroom. The hike to the lake was about a half mile so we rented a golf cart. The first cart was a 4 person cart and died after 1 trip. Then we received a 2nd cart only 2 people could ride at a time. Overall, we had a good time and the setting was peaceful. Being with family on the lake making memories was the main reason for the trip.

We had a great time, mainly because of the pool and the wonky pool table. The hike to the lake was about a half mile, which we were not prepared for. We grew to enjoy the hike through the woods. The house is decorated in 1970's rustic - quaint! We had fun!

I recently stayed at Penny Lane, and it was one of the best vacations of my life. Entering the property was like arriving at a secret garden of comfort. Penny, the host, is very responsive and willing to assist with any issues. I was able to bring my fur baby who was enamored with the spacious grounds. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone wanting some rest and relaxation in a rural environment. I cannot wait to visit again!

We did have a fabulous time here over the long weekend. However, this house could really use updating. The interior is very dark, with very low wattage bulbs in the lamps. Mattresses and box springs need replacing. No TV’s in the bedrooms, just one in the living room. It did have a nice big clean covered pool. The house is old but it was clean. And no bugs! The lake was a bit of a hike to get there, so by all means rent the golf cart! The path to the lake is not flat. Quite hilly with big tree roots all around.
