This home was perfect for our trip. Location was good, walk to the river and downtown. The home was very clean and well stocked. We had a great time and would book this house again!

This was our first time booking through Evolve and everything went smoothly and as expected. Appreciated the small first-timers discount! And happy to support a CO-based company. The same listing was on VRBO and Airbnb but booking thought Evolve we saved at least $100.
We LOVED that there were 2 BRs each with a KING bed; king-bedded rentals in Salida are often hard to come by. This was the perfect set-up for two couples, one with a 2-yr-old. We did not use the 3rd BR with a full-size bed.
The place has obviously been recently and thoughtfully updated with new floors, paint, super comfy and modern furnishings, decor, etc.
It also has a very well appointed kitchen -- the best stocked in terms of cooking items that I've seen in a long time. We enjoyed sharing breakfast all together every morning at the large table.
The "bonus" TV room (former garage?) was comfy though we did not spend any real time in there as we were out and about a lot and not in front of the TV.
The main bedroom bed was very comfy even if a tiny bit squeaky. Did not try the other beds.
The house was clean. Best part, a very short walk to F Street for shopping and dining, Riverside Park, and the river.
It really deserves 4.5 stars. The only reasons I did not give it 5 stars:
The bedrooms' windows all need blinds or lined curtains; it's *exceptionally* bright in the mornings when we would have loved to have slept past 6:30/7:00am while on a long "mini holiday" weekend.
The backyard needs some love for warm-weather visitors who'd enjoy hanging out on the back patio. Yard is just dirt.
Would love it even more if it were dog-friendly, but understand with new floors maybe you don't want fur babies.
Overall, it was EXACTLY what we were hoping for to share our favorite CO town with cousins visiting from France!

We love this house. This was our second year staying here for a ski trip. There are 4 of us (two teenagers - eek) and everyone was happy.
