The house worked perfect for us. Kitchen had what we needed to cook dinner every night. Grills were in great shape. Yard was large and amazing- perfect for the laser tag we brought. Lake was super clean and shallow which was nice. Paddle boat was fun for the girls. We brought kayaks and it was Great Lake for kayaking. Stars were amazing and the weather was perfect! We would definitely rent here again..

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Hidden Paradise. Although the bugs were thick at certain times of the day, we were able to spend lots of time outside. We went on several days trips (Sault Ste. Marie, Tahquamenon Falls, St. Ignace) and found Hidden Paradise to be a perfect base-camp location. There were plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, sheets, cooking supplies, chairs, etc. provided by the owners. The wifi was strong enough for video meetings (although it does not reach the smaller cabin) and the satellite TV provided plenty of evening entertainment. We cooked almost all of our meals at the house and found everything we needed. We used the provided outdoor grill (there were two) and the firepit as well. We brought our own kayaks but also enjoyed using the paddleboat (there's an aluminum canoe that we did not try out). The beach is sandy and does not get deep quickly at all, so it's great for young kids. It took us a minute to find the second queen bed in the smaller cabin...it's a murphy bed that folds into to wall, so it's very inconspicuous. The smaller cabin did have a musty smell despite us running the air filter/purifier and the refrigerator in the smaller cabin didn't get very cool (the small freezer part was great), so we stored everything in the bigger fridge in the main cabin. The kids loved the bunk beds in the main cabin and the adults loved the big, remodeled shower! We highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future!

We were very pleases with the yard;
2 families (4 adults & 7 kids) the yard was a big selling point!!
Upon entry the home smelled very musty. The guidebook indicated this is a known issue, to open windows & ventilate.
We did as suggested & the smell did subside, however, upon further inspection of the main cabin we found obvious signs of black mold on ceiling and between logs.
Disappointing that this is a known issue and no real solution (ie: dehumidifier or AC unit) have been provided. They did have several air purifiers available..
The dishwasher was also not in sufficient working order, imho, for the price paid.
Overall, we had a great time with family albeit some price tag regret for the product we received.
