Amazing - perfect location, wonderful accommodations and the host could not have been more hospitable.
The access to Palo Alto, walking distance to University Ave, Stanford, Cal Train, Menlo Park, etc is perfect for anyone coming to the area for work or pleasure.
Clean, comfortable and very quiet - I hope others enjoy and much as I did!

The location and the overall condition of the accommodation were perfectly fine, and I personally had no issues during my stay.
However, what left a negative impression was the excessive emphasis on warnings and prohibitions. From food waste disposal and cleaning rules to parking and smoking, there were constant reminders and strict instructions throughout the stay.
I understand the need for house rules, and I’m someone who always uses a place carefully and leaves it clean. But the way these rules were communicated felt overly restrictive and somewhat unwelcoming, which unfortunately created a sense of resistance rather than reassurance.
A slightly warmer, more trust-based tone would make the experience feel much more pleasant.

I often stay with friends or in hotels when I visit Palo Alto, but hotels were either full or incredibly expensive, and friends were unavailable. When I found this studio so close to Stanford, I jumped on it.
The neighborhood was lovely, it was very easy to get over to Stanford, and the accommodations were first-rate. Everything I needed was there, I did not have any issue with the train noise (but it was nice to know about it beforehand), and the setting was private.
I will not hesitate to stay here again!

The hosts are very nice and the studio is clean, nicely lit, and comfortable. The only improvement I would suggest is a softer duvet cover.
The area is a quiet neighborhood near university ave. There is a shaded walking path very close to the house that I used every morning. Overall an excellent place to stay.
