The Coop was perfect for relaxing and resting. It had EVERYTHING you could need... so well equipped and maintained. Craig was so very helpful. He went far beyond necessary to make sure that we had all that we wanted to make our stay delightful. We celebrated our 60th anniversary in the midst of God's rich creation and it will be a memory that will last the rest of our lives. We took scenic drives which were awe-inspiring, but the greatest blessing was just reading and relaxing on the back, screened-in porch of the Coop. Ahh, so peaceful and so restful. We definitely hope to return.

It was incredibly peaceful out there and the weather was so nice. Craig was a great host and he helped when I wasn't sure how to get passed the hill when leaving the property.

This is the second time my mom, myself, and my dog have stayed at this property and we absolutely love it. The screened-in porch is an absolute dream. We enjoy spending time on the porch whether it is eating, playing card games, or just relaxing. The cabin is always clean and cozy. We love to go to close-by areas (Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Yellowcreek Falls, etc.) during the day and return to the cabin to cook out and relax. I highly recommend checking this property out. The owners have always been super nice too! We will definitely be back!

Cabin was fully cleaned, completely equipped, ready and waiting for us. Site is absolutely gorgeous and the weather was delightful. We never use the AC in early September, just opened the windows and listened to the birds.
We love this cabin. Hosts are present but transparent, neighbors have never bothered us at all. Location is handy to so many opportunities that we feel the need to come back when we don't have a driving event to dominate the weekend.
It is like having your own private place equipped just the way you want it. If you think you need something, it is probably there - just look around for it!

This was the absolute, most perfect place for a quiet getaway in the mountains! Close enough to lots of fun activities, but still every secluded. The cabin had everything we needed and more. I was more than thrilled with my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at "The Coop" the drive up the mountain was a little unnerving in the rain especially at night. But the Cabin is great for 2 people.

Our stay at The Coop was fantastic. Definitely provided everything needed for a nice weekend retreat. The mountain views from the porch are beautiful and everything inside was very clean. Will definitely be returning!

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday and we absolutely loved it!
The cabin was small, but cozy. Its exactly as we expected it to be.
The best part of our stay was watching the sunrise from the screened in porch. Breathtaking! It was very peaceful and quiet.
We did go into Bryson city while we were there, but most of the time we spent at the cabin.
The cabin was stocked with everything you need, just bring food. We took advantage of the grill they have and cooked on it most nights.
If you are looking for a small, peaceful piece of Heaven, give the Coop a try!

My son and I spent 3 days at the Coop. Perfect size for us and had all the amenities we would need. Very clean, good location, lovely area. You're about 20 minutes from the NOC (where we spent most of our time), 30 minutes from Bryson City, 1.5hr to Clingmans Dome. You could easily make a day trip even to Gatlinburg. The host were responsive and had the cabin ready to go. I can see how the drive-way up to the cabin could be precarious in the winter or with a super low riding car, but I had no difficulty and the instructions provided were excellent. If I were to go back to the area, this would be the first place I would check for availability.

This lovely little cabin made a great homebase for our family as we spent a couple of days exploring hiking trails and rivers of the area. My kids especially loved it. Gas grill on the porch was perfect for summer cooking. We all slept great!

This beautiful little cabin has the most amazing views from the back porch where we enjoyed coffees and watching the sun come up. It was so quiet and secluded. The cabin is well-stocked with kitchen cookware so we were able to make tasty dinners and breakfasts (ate lunches on the trail). There is a full sized fridge too. There is a ton of hiking in the area and a beautiful hike on the AT to Cheoah Bald that is less than ten minutes away! If you stay here and want a shorter hike, please go to Joyce Kilmer, it is magical! We cannot describe how much we absolutely love this clean, cozy and welcoming cabin. Such a gem!

The Coop is an amazing, adorable little spot! We cancelled our wedding and honeymoon due to COVID, but got married in a quick civil ceremony and wanted some sort of trip to mark the occasion. This cabin was the perfect option, and it was so clean that we felt entirely comfortable. We loved the little touches and the owners so clearly take time to put in effort. The holiday decorations were so sweet!
This may have been an even better honeymoon, since it was so affordable that we can -- and will -- come back. Plus, we were able to bring our dog, so the whole family was together. I cannot recommend the Coop enough! BOOK HERE!

Nice little basic cabin. Surprised at the number of other cabins close by. The lane in is just big enough for a jeep.

Awesome place!!!
Craig was more than helpful and always willing to give a hand. He even checked up on us after our rides on the motorcycles. Pops and I had a great time visiting and catching up, no cell service made it even better to stay off the Electronic World. Enjoyed the motorcycle rides that the area has to offer, when in doubt ask Craig he will direct you wisely.
Pops and I was able to cross off a bucket list item with this trip. I am definitely keeping this place in the book for the next adventure!

Truly a 5 star experience! I spent 3 nights at this incredible cabin and enjoyed every minute of it. The cabin was immaculate and so welcoming. I was by myself and took advantage of sitting on the screened in porch for the solitude I was seeking. The easy access to the Appalachian Trail was a huge plus for me. The bed was amazingly comfortable giving me 3 fantastic nights sleep. Although I didn't use the kitchen much it had all the amenities needed to cook an amazing meal. I have nothing negative to say about this cabin and WILL stay here again when I am in the area. Craig and Eileen you have a true gem - as my title says I could easily live in this wonderful place!!!! Thank you for providing it!! David

We had a wonderful trip! What a great little house. Way back in the Woods we enjoyed some much needed time off, didn’t have cell phone service (a plus honestly) but the WiFi worked great when I needed to check in with the outside world. Not too far off the road, found some great local restaurants and enjoyed a day in Cherokee
Thanks for the great property!
