It’s a great cozy little cabin. I met the owner when i got it in. He was great to meet and he showed me and my uncle around the cabin. It was everything i needed for my trip. I will definitely book again.

This cozy cabin has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing lake stay!! Everything was close by and everyone was so friendly! We highly recommend this perfect spot!

The #1 reason for only an ok rating...the bed. It is like sleeping on a lumpy brick. The mattress cover is paper thin so you felt every contour of the mattress, and it is hard as a rock. The frame squeaks with every little movement, and it moves on the wood floor making noise as well. The bedroom door hangs open directly next to the bed so whoever sleeps on the outside has the door right in their face. We did not want the door shut because then you have no air movement (no ceiling fan in here). Tried the AC unit which was so loud we had to turn it off. Tried to open a window, but then you hear every car that goes by or the upstairs apartment's AC unit. It was awful, and we did not sleep well.
The place is quaint, but its old and isn't very clean. The shower is moldy ( I regret not having shower shoes!), the bath rug looked like it hadn't been washed in a year, the extra blanket has stains on it, the throw blankets looked dirty and there were cobwebs and dead bugs in all the window sill areas.
There seriously needs to be some house quiet hours. The other visitors above the garage thought it would be a great idea to do laundry in the shared washer/dryer at 9:00p.m. and then forgot their stuff in the dryer for a hour while it was on wrinkle guard. So we got to listen to it kick on every few minutes for close to an hour. And then they put another load in and did the same thing for at least 20 minutes around 10:00 p.m.! The door between our place and the washer area is only an interior door, so it was very loud and rude.
We were surprised there weren't any tissues in the house, but I will say that there were plenty of dishes and kitchen items to use. It is also nice that folks leave behind various toiletry items ( shampoo, body wash, etc.) So in case you forget something, you are covered.
The host was nice, but we will not choose this location again.
