Pros: We had a lovely experience at the cabin, enjoyed the property as best we could over a rainy weekend. The living/kitchen area is very cozy, and we loved being able to use the wood stove to warm up. I loved being able to bring my dog, she had such a fun time running around the yard and even went into the pond.
Cons: The red room has an almost unbearable musky/mold smell. All three beds were very uncomfortable, and the bedding provided was very thin/not enough. I opted to sleep on one of the futons the second night, as it was more comfortable than the mattress. There were no extra blankets anywhere in the house, and it was chilly in the evening, luckily we had some of our own to use when lounging on the couch.
We did not use the game room, but did check it out, and it seemed very dated/run down.
Overall, I would love to come back to this cabin and enjoy it again but unfortunately the bedding situation might overpower the pros of the rest of the experience. It's really unfortunate because a little investment in that would go a long way.
I would recommend this property to others with the caveat that the red room may cause mold allergies/dont use it and to make sure you bring extra bedding with you if you like to be more comfortable sleeping.

We had so much fun and such a relaxing time at John & Gina’s cabin. Cannot think of a thing we needed, plenty of land to explore and a beautiful, picturesque cabin. It was a bit chilly when we were there and the hosts were thoughtful enough to have a fire going already when we arrived. Can’t wait to come back.

It was just as advertised, which isn’t always true with rental properties. Secluded and quiet. Very clean, with new kitchen appliances and propane grill. I’ll try to get back for a longer stay.

We had a great time! There was so much to do. From the game room to the fire pit to open space, this place did not disappoint. We will be coming back and probably stay a few more days. Highly recommend!!
