We chose this cottage due to its location, which is excellent. It is just yards from the beach and very convenient to a general store which had everyting we needed. About 100 yards down the road is an excellent restaurant that served wonderful food and had outstanding service. We ate there several times. The cottage was comfortable and had excellent wifi. The parking was directly in front of the cottage. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room very comfortable. The large TV was a nice bonus. The beds in the cottage were very comforable. We had two concerns that kept us from giving the cottage 5 stars.
The one bathroom is downstairs and all the bedrooms are upstairs. The biggest problem for us was the very narrow and steep staircase that led up to the bedrooms. We are both in our 70s and we found it difficult to get the luggage upstairs and getting to the bathroom in the middle of the night was concerning. If we were younger it probably wouldn't be an issue. I don't recall reading anything in the cottage information about this. My error, I dont' know. The other issue was the lack of directions on how to get the standard channels on the TV. We were able to sign into our Netflix and Prime Video accounts so we were able to watch movies. The ability to find local NBC, CBS or ABC channels was perplexing.
The neighbors we met were very nice and welcoming. Overall we really liked this cottage but if anyone has physical limitation that may hinder their ability to climb a very narrow staircase or need to use the bathroom during the night they may want to look elsewhere.

We had a very nice time at our stay on Sebago Lake. The cottage was very cozy and clean and supplied us with everything we needed including sheets and towels. The private beach was clean as was the water. It was easy for my 90-year-old mother to get in and out of the water and back to the cottage at the end of the day. They also supplied beach floats, toys and kayaks to use which was great! We had a very nice time and would recommend this cottage for a lovely summer vacation spot.

This cottage was perfect for our family of 5. It was beautiful and clean. Hosts live close by and both were very helpful and nice. They were there to assist with any needs we had. A private sandy beach was awesome to enjoy the lake on. We will be back for sure! Thank you!!
