My husband, me and our 2 dogs stayed at the Y2 Ranch to escape the heat. Our stay was better than expected. The house was comfortable with everything we needed, but the outside was where we spent all of our days and some of our evenings. Sitting in the shade reading under the big tree or under the covered deck were my favorite places. My husband enjoyed the jacuzzi. Every day, we enjoyed watching the thunderstorms come in and the stars were amazing on a clear night. Sunsets were stunning with a nearly 360-degree view from the property as the sky changed colors from orange to pink to purple. On two afternoons we saw a double rainbow in it's entirety from end to end. Our dogs enjoyed twice daily walks around the property. We will definitely be returning next summer. The hosts were extremely helpful!

Do yourself a favor and get on down to the ranch. This place is the best "cabin" me and my family ever had the pleasure to stay at. Cabin is not appropriate because this is a beautiful house with a big kitchen, an on property well with great water, great beds and furniture, a hot tub, and the most beautiful open skies I have ever seen. The milky way and meteor shower was the most clear I have ever seen. The property has trees on the edge but the immediate surroundings are open and allow for great views of the sky at night. The property has a nice trail for on property hikes and just wandering around out there was great. We saw many elk and other wildlife during our stay. Through my telescope I was able to see deep sky objects I have never seen where I live. The darts and pool table were great entertainment too. I hope I have the pleasure to visit again!!
