This was our 2nd stay at the cottage. We love it!
It’s perfect for weekend stays or longer. The screened-in porch is large enough to host a catered sit-down meal (for instance, to celebrate a grandparent (which we’ve done)). A 2-story great room with fireplace & kitchen spilling onto the screened-in porch and a lengthy front porch (with Adirondak chairs) is perfect for family get-togethers (e. g. for fall football, which we’ve done too)!
The whole property is well-maintained. Super clean.
Great location too! A block off the lake so PERFECT for young children. No worries of them being in the water before you notice! And only a half mile from Sequoyah Marina and access to all Norris Lake offers!
Great fire pit out back, which is an amphitheater canopied by old-growth sycamores, pines, and hickory, 100 feet tall!! Cleared and mowed underneath for children to play.
This property can serve many needs and, as I said: perfect for families.

This cottage was wonderful! It was very clean and inviting. It was also very well stocked with everything you could possibly need, from laundry soap, dish soap, trash bags, hand soap, lots of games, high chair, pack n play, etc.. So many things we usually bring or buy once arriving, but we didn’t need to on this trip. The welcome packet was also extremely helpful with lots of info about the cottage and surrounding area. We definitely felt right at home and welcome.

The location of this property was perfect and the home was very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and it was very charming. Our family and friends had a fabulous weekend. The ping pong table was broken, but our kids enjoyed throwing the football outside and found plenty of other things to do. Coffee on the porch in the morning was enjoyable.
