Fantastic cabin for a family get away. Plenty of space for 7 or 8 and well stocked - don't bring your own spices, there are more than enough! :) Loved the pond and trails on the property, and the town of Guffey is unique. We had breakfast at The Bakery in town and would recommend it.

We had one of the best experiences in this cabin that sits on a 40+ acre land with its own private trails and a small lake. We were a group of 10 people and found the cabin to be spacious to accommodate us all. There are also a lot of games to enjoy. Kids had a great time playing foosball and air hockey and finishing one of the many puzzles available. We had an amazing time walking around in the woods and thoroughly enjoyed the canoeing and kayaking in the private lake. All the required gear is available in the shed next to the lake including life jackets and paddles.
We also visited some local places. Guffey Gorge is roughly 18mins drive and it is a beautiful place for cliff jumping, going in the water, etc. Its a small Gorge and gets crowded on weekends. Antique shop and museum in Guffey was great. The food at Colorado Mountain Distillers was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I would love to come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great cabin vacation experience.

The comfortable cabin in an isolated surround provided a magical retreat for our small family. Our daughter loves playing in the small pond, hiking around the property, and listening to array of birds.

We enjoyed our Christmas getaway at the Serenity Cabin, immaculate views and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. The owner(s) was so thoughtful to have labels just about everywhere on everything that was important and Thomas was so kind in answering all of my questions and within a timely manner. The house is remote in the middle of the mountains and truly is the most perfect & peaceful getaway but also within reasonable distance to the most popular destinations like Cañon City, Colorado Springs, & Breckenridge. I highly recommend this beautiful house to any family!
