It could be a real nice cabin, but it needs some work. First off, the lawn needs work. The cabin looks abandoned from the outside. We drove right by it because we could not believe this was the same place.
Other issues.
The curtains are 50 years old, and most of them do not work. They are thin, worn and look real bad.
The microwave was dead. Did not work at all. That was a big deal as all of the food we brought with us was for a microwave.
The faucet in the kitchen does not shut off right. It just spins around and around.
The flooring in the kitchen has a couple of spots that are coming up and need to be fixed.
So like I said, this could be a real nice place, it just needs a few hours of work to make it like it could be.

We had a great visit to South Fork again. Stayed here in 2021 and rode the Railbikes for the first time and wanted to do that again for the longer ride. Great fun. The cabin was convenient to our activities. The cabin was clean and comfortable. This was our second stay in the cabin.

Cute little cottage, clean, plenty of room for the 3 of us. Felt like a throwback to the 60’s and 70’s with decor.
On the upside, plenty of kitchen supplies, but on downside, felt a little like we were staying in somebody else’s house given most drawers etc. stuffed full of typical household items.
Biggest issue was a bed that squeaked like crazy any time you move- hopefully owner will remedy that soon. Mattress and sheets comfortable.
Plenty to do in area. Go to Creede - just lovely.

The cabin could use some major updates. Toilet seat is wooden and kinda nasty underneath. Shower is newer and clean. Two blue chairs in living room are filthy. They need to be cleaned or pitched out.
Stove hood fan doesn't work. Nor does light.
There is a new clothes washing machine which was great! The dryer not so much.
The location is quiet and peaceful. If you go when it's hot, the cabin doesn't cool down until late evening.
The deck In back was great for evening dinner or wine.
