Our stay at Stony Bay Lodge was enjoyable. The host was friendly and helpful, the lodging was clean and comfortable, and the view was peaceful.

We had a great time at this wonderful property! The property is stunning, the location is great, and Joe (host) helped make it a magical experience.
The property is beautiful, with easy access to Lake Superior. We spent many hours exploring the shoreline in front of the property, had many bonfires, and enjoyed all the views of Lake Superior. The home was very nice and very clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay.
Joe was such a wonderful host, and worked hard to ensure the stay was great. He gave us lots of privacy unless we had questions or wanted to chat. He would always have the fire pit ready to go for us, and gave us good recommendations on where to explore on the beach in front of his property.
We were so impressed by this property, and hope we are lucky enough to stay there again some day!

Joe is a great host who has meticulously maintained the home and grounds. Beautiful view of the lake and very nice rocky beach area below. Lots of wildlife and a great location between Duluth and Two Harbors.
