We had a wonderful family vacation, fitting 9 adults and 2 babies in the house comfortably. Pros: Location location location!! 10 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to a nice plaza for food/coffee/convenience store. Quick drive to the pier. I do agree that the listing should not advertise “private beach” as it is a 10 min walk to a public beach (we were told on arrival that they closed off access for the private spot), but we didn’t mind the walk and were prepared by the reviews. This is the first time the photos actually made the house seem smaller than in real life. There was so much room! Two of the rooms are massive, making it perfect for families with young kids. You can fit a blow up mattress and/or pack and play in the walk in closet in both the big rooms, so we had us and toddler and baby in one room comfortably. The house was very clean on arrival! Bathrooms, fridge and even the oven. I was having a bunch of baby items delivered before our arrival (there is nothing there) and the property manager was kind enough to let me deliver it to her house and she brought it over when we checked in. Cons: THE DOOR!!! It drove us crazy. You needed to be very strong to move the sliding door, put your whole body into it, which is the only way to get in unless you go through one of the guest bathrooms which obviously we were not going to use. They need to replace the sliding door or at least they could have sprayed some WD40 to help it slide. I brought it up the first day, the property manager said she’d tell the owner and send a handyman, but we never heard back about it. There were a few concerns brought to the property managers during our stay that were left unsolved. Nothing major, we figured it out ourselves (except the door), but they shouldn’t have been ignored. I was glad no one told me about the cockroaches until we were leaving, but there were at least 5 spotted during our stay, and not just by the door- one was found in the cutlery drawer and behind the bar, some babies, some very big. We have photos but I'll spare you. The house is in need of a lot of TLC. Aside from the obvious renovations needed, the owners could easily make some changes to make it more comfortable for guests (bedding, pillows, cushions, towels, etc.) but I don’t think they care too much about the state of the property, they know it’ll get rented because of the size and location and they just deal with the complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is fantastic — an easy walk to the beach — and the patio area and pool are great places to relax. The home is also priced very reasonably for the area.
With a few small updates, this place could easily go from great to amazing. Some low‑cost improvements that would really enhance the guest experience include:
• Adding shower caddies in all bathrooms so guests don’t have to keep toiletries on the floor.
• Installing additional towel hooks to make the bathrooms more functional.
• Adding frosting or privacy film to the glass blocks near the shower area.
• Making better use of the large common room — a pool table or additional lounge-style seating could make it a more engaging space.
• Updating the carpets or transitioning to hardwood for a fresher, more modern feel.
• Addressing the rust around the patio doors or replacing with more rust‑resistant materials.
• Improving bedroom lighting to make the rooms brighter and more welcoming.
• Checking the dresser drawers to ensure they open and close properly.
Overall, we liked the location and amenities, and with a few thoughtful upgrades, this property could truly stand out.

This wonderful home offers ample space, and we spent most of our time relaxing by the pool area. The property is conveniently located near restaurants and cafés, making it all walkable. Val, the property manager, is truly amazing!
