This house was perfect for our “sister/cousin” trip! We had 9 in our party and had plenty of space! It’s decorated super cute. The owner called to make sure we got in with no problems-was super friendly!

Upon arrival to this property we were hit in the face with the overwhelming smell of mold. Upon investigation of the basement, the carpet was found soaking wet and spongy as it seems there was a water intrusion problem (which is very typical of basements in Idaho during the wet winter). I immediately contacted Evolve who put me in direct contact with the homeowner, Mike. Mike immediately contacted me about the problem to apologize profusely and to start planning how to tackle the problem. Mike worked with me to determine how disruptive having a restoration crew come to the home would be during our Thanksgiving retreat which is very considerate. The restoration crew was able to setup entry points with zipper doors to abate the awful mold odor which was definitely necessary. We did loose the bottom half of the house, a full bedroom, a second living room area and a full bath... and with 8 adults in the same space made for a real challenge, so I had to re-direct some of my family elsewhere. Mike more than made up for this by offering a generous discount on the rate we paid. The home is newly remodeled and offers all the creature comforts one would expect in a modern home. The kitchen worked particularly well for us as it was Thanksgiving and I (as a chef) was able to make an incredible meal using the equipment provided. One small warning: the hot water from the tap is VERY hot! I'm sure this is due to the freezing cold temperatures and to prevent pipes from bursting... but beware! I kept burning my hands every time I turned the sink on! All in all, the home was perfect for our Family gathering and was in a perfectly central location. I definitely hope to return here for future visits.

My husband and I, and our son and daughter-in-law decided to ride the Hiawatha Trail and wanted to spend two nights close to the trailhead. We picked this house in Kellogg and it was perfect. The house was clean and cute, and the location was even better than we knew. It was 20 minutes from the bike rental on Lookout Pass, and only 35 miles from Coeur d'Alene, so we went there for dinner. If we bike the trail again, I would definitely stay at this house.
