We booked "Cozy Cottage" for the 5 days over the 4th of July holiday. We had stayed here before and wanted to return. The accommodations were great, the view of the river fabulous and the deck actually sits on the river. 100% great.

This was a perfect family getaway! My sister and her husband and my husband and I took a nostalgic trip to Monticello Indiana. Many years ago before retiring we all would spend our weekends on Freeman Lake. This trip took us back to many places along the lake we enjoyed back then.
This was our first time EVER staying in an Airbnb and loved it. We were in the 2 bedroom cabin at Cozy Cottage. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. We especially loved the expansive deck and covered back porch. The accommodations included everything we needed from linens to kitchenware. Tv and Wifi were perfect. We will definitely go there again.

We were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice place to stay while visiting family at Shafer Lake. We have been coming to this area for the past 10+ years for a family reunion and struggle to find a good place to stay. The home was clean and had every amenity you could want during a stay. The Host was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here for future visits.

My husband & I loved our cozy cottage! It was our first visit to Lake Shafer, and we cant wait to go back. We loved everything! The sunsets are amazing & the grounds are beautiful too. The owners Bob & Jayne are really nice people.
