We wanted a place to gather as a family and enjoy time. We got that in Aces! Some family came and went, some stayed.
We All enjoyed our time. There were games and puzzles provided for night time entertainment (tournaments, we’re competitive in a good way), a fire pit for s’mores and hotdogs and such. Days were filled with fishing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding (equipment provided). Of course, the platform from the top deck was in constant use.
The wildlife was excellent! Lots of different birds, fish, gators and the otter that fished the lagoon as we watched was really cool. We’re Floridians and outdoor enthusiasts, so we know to be respectful of our environment as well as aware of surroundings.
The experience was everything we wanted.
You will find the home comfortable and well equipped. If you are looking for fancy, this ain’t it, but it IS exactly what casual river life feels like.

We had such a great time here! The dock is a great place to hang out, even in the day it was comfortable with the shade and the breeze coming off the river. This is a quieter part of Rainbow River, which was great, we didn't have to fight for space with all the people tubing further north. There were more kayaks available than we could use, the ones we used were in great condition. Kelly and Tom were very responsive with any questions we had. The house itself is older and very comfortable. We had 8 people staying there and there was plenty of room for everyone. We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I stayed for a week, along with 2 other mother/daughter pairs for a "spring" break getaway. Dunnellon is a great little town, convenient to several springs for day trips/activities. We all loved the private dock and access to the water!

First thing we found upon arrival was a food box at the front door that had been there about 3 days (nasty). Inside was not what we expected, empty bottles left in the kitchen sink, the counter tops had crumbs and sticky stuff, we had to clean the kitchen. Once you find some things not clean you wonder about the rest.
The pictures on the website are not quite what you get. The best part was the beds. No swimming at the dock, gators.
