We stayed in July 2025, and I have all great things to say! The location is perfect, 10 minute walk to the beach. Reading reviews can be scary, and so I went in with an open mind. The interior and decorations were absolutely fine! Who cares about mismatched pillows and too many pool chairs? Everything was beachy and super clean, smelled great! The kitchen was well stocked. Four bedrooms were perfect for my family of 7. My boys fished off the dock and rented bikes less than a mile away. The pool....AWESOME! If you have little kids, the big area to wade in was absolutely perfect, but yet had a deep end for the big kids to have their fun. The awning to sit in the shade was where we all sat every morning for coffee. The bay view is breathtaking, and we couldn't get enough. The temperature in the house was perfect. In fact, we were always cold. We didn't need to heat the pool, being in July, and the water was always great! There were pool toys, and we even left our rafts for the next group:) The neighbors were very nice and even brought us some beer to apologize for the tree trimming that was going on which was only for a couple hours. The grill is old, and to get it to light, we had to use a lighter, but then it worked just fine! Plenty of beach towels in the laundry room. We will be absolutely be booking this house again! I am a picky vacationer, and this house was A+ for our group!

The house and views were beautiful. Dolphins swam up to our dock multiple times. Had plenty of space and essentials for hosting large family group. But be aware of the separate fee to heat hot tub and pool. Pool heat ineffective when colder.

I'll start off by saying that the house and property are absolutely beautiful, and the location was great. The view from the back yard was the best part of our stay. However, we booked our vacation on Booking.com and were unaware of the $50 PLUS TAX fee to use the hot tub, until we got our instructions a week before our stay. We felt that $50+ a day for maybe one or two hours a day of hot tub use was excessive and we very unhappy that we were unaware of the additional fee. I contacted the owner, Susan, and let her know that the listing on Booking.com didn't say anything about a fee, and that we were very upset by this because we chose this property because it had a hot tub. The property manager told us that the kind of hot tub at the property is inefficient and costs a lot to heat it. I let him know that we rented a home in Florida the year before, which had the same kind of hot tub. The owners didn't charge us a single cent in addition to the cost of our rental. Susan offered us 2 hours of free hot tub time on one of the days. We had to contact her in order for her to turn on the jets and the heat FROM HER CELL PHONE. So any time you want to use the hot tub, you have to contact her and she will set it up mobile. You then have to let her know for how long you wish to use the hot tub.
Also, the master bath shower and sink did not produce hot water the first five days we were there. We contacted the property manager on our first day there and let him know that we didn't have hot water in the master bath. He told us that that property has a tank-less water heater and the travel time was the issue. We were told to let it run for a long time and see what happens. We did this several times, but still no hot water. For five days, five of us were using one bathroom. My husband and I were unable to use our master bath until the day the property manager came over only to check the pool, which was day five. While he was checking on the pool, I told him once again that we still didn't have any hot water in the master bath. He went in to check and it was discovered that the handle was installed backwards and when we had the knob set to "H" for hot, it was actually set at the cold setting. So the last 2 days of our stay we were finally able to use the master shower. The master sink still didn't produce any hot water which wasn't a big issue. Also, the listing showed that the property had a fire pit. We brought wood down with us for use of the fire pit, and once we got there we discovered there wasn't a fire pit. I contacted Susan about this and she said that it was taken away because the neighbors complained about it being "left on" by previous renters.
Additionally, we saw the patio area had two speakers and we inquired about the use of them for music. Susan told us that we could not use them because the neighbors would complain. The dishwasher had a seal that was broken which was discovered on day three. It wasn't until day five that it was fixed.
There were notes all over the home threatening $500 fees if: pets were there, feminine products were flushed down the toilette, if there was evidence of smoking, if there were large gatherings or parties, etc. We had friends who were staying in other homes near us and wanted to get together with them but were afraid of what constitutes in the owner's mind as a party or large gathering. The property manager was nice enough to deal with but had his hands tied since all decisions are made via the owner who is unyielding. I would never rent a property owned by her ever again.
