We stayed in July 2025, and I have all great things to say! The location is perfect, 10 minute walk to the beach. Reading reviews can be scary, and so I went in with an open mind. The interior and decorations were absolutely fine! Who cares about mismatched pillows and too many pool chairs? Everything was beachy and super clean, smelled great! The kitchen was well stocked. Four bedrooms were perfect for my family of 7. My boys fished off the dock and rented bikes less than a mile away. The pool....AWESOME! If you have little kids, the big area to wade in was absolutely perfect, but yet had a deep end for the big kids to have their fun. The awning to sit in the shade was where we all sat every morning for coffee. The bay view is breathtaking, and we couldn't get enough. The temperature in the house was perfect. In fact, we were always cold. We didn't need to heat the pool, being in July, and the water was always great! There were pool toys, and we even left our rafts for the next group:) The neighbors were very nice and even brought us some beer to apologize for the tree trimming that was going on which was only for a couple hours. The grill is old, and to get it to light, we had to use a lighter, but then it worked just fine! Plenty of beach towels in the laundry room. We will be absolutely be booking this house again! I am a picky vacationer, and this house was A+ for our group!

The house and views were beautiful. Dolphins swam up to our dock multiple times. Had plenty of space and essentials for hosting large family group. But be aware of the separate fee to heat hot tub and pool. Pool heat ineffective when colder.

I joined my family at this lovely oasis. The property and view are welcoming and gorgeous. However, the owner and property manager were not consistent nor transparent in their practices.
The house was advertised with a hot tub and heated pool - listed under the amenities. Amenities are assumed to be features or facilities INCLUDED in the overall cost of a rental. But only *after* my sister booked the home did she found out that there was an additional $50 A DAY - A DAY - fee for use of the hot tub - no matter if you used it for 20 minutes or five hours. And who uses a hot tub for hours at a stretch in August in FLORIDA? There was also a $50/day charge to heat the pool. And the pool was shockingly chilly as we had a good deal of rain ever day.
She was also told that the property included a fire pit - and that was even confirmed. We did not find out that the fire pit was removed until we arrived and she questioned the owner. She was then told that the city made her remove it because some visitors "left it on" and neighbors complained. Sounds odd, but that was the story.
There was also an optional charge for early check-in/late check out. One document stated it was $125 for each, another document stated a higher price, and when we requested both, the owner quoted us an even higher price, nearly $400 - WITH TAX! We challenged the price and the owner did give us early/late checks for a total of $283 (included tax). Quite steep for an extra 6 hours total (three on each end as their check out is 10am).
Other information was also inconsistent between the site and the info my sister received after booking.
Then there was the hot water. The master suite shower had no hot water - so for over three days five people were stuck sharing one bathroom. She was back and forth with the owner and property manager regarding he water issue. They continually assured that you "just had to let it heat up." Well, after letting the water run for over 20 minutes, still didn't have hot water. We also didn't get hot water for the kitchen sink to do dishes. The issue with the master bath was eventually resolved after three days, but it was an easy fix that should have been resolved in a few minutes, not days.
None of this ruined our stay, but did cast a bit of stress and disappointed. My sister specifically picked this property because of the hot tub and "heated" pool, only to find out that it would cost us $50 a day to use it. Never before have any is stayed somewhere where we were charged an additional fee - not to mention and astronomical one - for the hot tub. And the hot water issue added coordination challenges, not to mention timed wasted emailing back and forth with the owner and property manager when she should have been enjoying her vacation.
And just for the record, nowhere were the additional fees revealed prior to booking - not under "house rules, not under the "fine print" on the site.
If anyone is visited by a white heron at the home, tell "Stella" I said hello.
