This was our second time staying at Saleh Prairie!! We have a daughter who lives in the small town of Godley Tx. A get together with the entire family tends to be a bit crowded at her place. We first stayed here in March of 2023 and it was perfect!! We spent the majority of time at our daughters home, but looked forward to a great nights sleep at Saleh!!! VERY Clean and comfortable. If you enjoy sunrises and coffee on the porch, then this is a great place to consider. Host is very responsive and reply's are almost immediate. Looking forward to our next family get together and a return to Saleh Prairie!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Selah Prairie! The owners are very sweet and accommodating. We loved the added bonus of the pool in this hot Texas heat and it was very easy to coordinate the use of it with the owners. The property is far enough in the country that you hear all of the nature sounds and see the stars at night but close enough to several cities for some good food and activities!
Our only feedback regarding the property is that the property says it can sleep 6 but it would be a tight fit if it is all adults and you are on the heavier side, like us. The living room only has 1 small couch and a few wooden chairs to sit in. We sat down in one of the chairs and the back broke so we didn't want to use the chairs again for the rest of the stay limiting the seating for family movie night. Several people sat on the floor, but we are older now so that hurt our back. The couch cushions are also worn oddly and slant down making you feel as if you are going to fall forward. We flipped them around for our stay, backwards, and it did help a little. Revised seating arrangements would help a lot!
Many rentals we have stayed at include condiments, several basic seasonings and cooking/oil spray. The only seasonings are salt, pepper and basil. Onion salt and garlic powder would have been helpful to have. There was no cooking oil/spray. Be sure to bring your own! The kitchen is very well stocked as far as cookie sheets, pots/pans, utensils and plates/cups.
Overall, we had a really great time and would 100% stay on the property again! You won't regret your stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. Steve and Karen are wonderful hosts. The property that this apartment is on is beautiful. Unit overlooks a small lake and we saw deer in the morning one morning. The unit itself is also beautiful. Nice finishes and decor, and it was spotless clean. We got to meet Steve as we were departing on our last day. Chatted with him for a good 30 mins. Was like talking with an old friend you haven’t seen in a while. Amazing people and beautiful property. This will be my first choice to stay when we return to the area.
