The house was clean and plenty of room for 8 people. The lake with a dock is right across the street. Good fishing right off the dock in the morning.

The house was okay but it felt like death by 1,000 cuts.
First off, when we arrived, we realized parking was a bit of a nightmare. My F250 could only fit in the driveway running parallel to the road so parking became tighter than expected. Trying to leave the driveway or cross the street to the lake took extreme caution because the house is on a blind corner and cars would come around very quickly. With parking listed for 6 vehicles I assumed that parking my trailer on site wouldn't be any issue. It was very difficult to get the trailer to the rear parking lot because the driveway in is very narrow and has a very sharp curve. The neighbors there sure enjoyed standing outside watching us try to get in being sure to make sure we didn't run over their lawn at all. Once we got it back there, it had to be shoved halfway into the woods and when it was time to leave we had to pull it out by hand and turn it around because there wasn't enough room to maneuver it back out with the truck.
The dock that you get to tie a boat up to isn't shown anywhere in the photos. You have to dock on the opposite side from what's shown as 3' off the one pictured you're into the neighbors property and he's sure to mention that as well. Unless your boat is 16' or less, you'll have a part of your boat extending back beyond the dock. Make sure to bring good fenders with you as well since the wakes rolling in are no joke.
Once inside, the house is okay but not great. Certainly a flip job with the usual doors that don't close properly, paint overspray on the kitchen window and blinds etc... The biggest problems we had with the house were that the hot water heater wasn't functioning properly, it'd take 12 - 18 hours to reheat the water after 6 people showered. We also saw many ants, primarily around the kitchen sink and window. There is only one mini split head on the first floor so you need to sleep with the bedroom doors open or you'll get very warm. One of the twin beds had a nasty stain on it and we had to swap the sheets out. The garage would've been a nice place to store some stuff out of the way but was so dusty/dirty we didn't utilize it at all.
Ultimately, you can get on the lake, with a dock and sleep 8 people fairly comfortably. We were 4 adults/4 kids so the space was adequate. We certainly felt a bit let down when comparing expectations to reality. We will be finding another house for our next trip to the area.
