We enjoyed the laid-back and remoteness of this location! The view and the deer and turkey population that came so close to the cabin are worth this stay alone. One evening we sat outside and saw 13 deer at one point and then the next morning we had over a dozen turkey. It was nice to be removed from the stress and the sounds of daily life and just be able to “relax“ for our short little vacation. The inside is OK and sufficient. Personally, I would’ve preferred things a little cleaner upon arrival. I did spend probably 5 to 10 minutes doing a little cleanup of the cabin when we arrived so we could use it. The outdoor grill and Blackstone that are provided are absolutely disgusting and I chose not to even attempt those. Instead, we just had things we could cook over the fire pit or eat as is. Again the view makes up for everything else. If you’re looking for a luxury cabin and retreat, this is not it.

Very clean. Spacious. Has everything you could need. We loved the stay with our 2 kids. Comfortable beds. Great, open space. Room to run around and explore outside and/or build a fire. We stayed to visit Mammoth Cave and Kentucky Down Under and loved both. Fantastic time. The host checked in on us when we got there to make sure everything was in order, and I appreciate that. We'll definitely be back!

We rented this cabin for a weekend with friends… the front porch was wonderful… we saw a lot of deer and turkeys … we enjoyed the fire pit and cooking out. The area is secluded however …it is not far from stores and restaurants… we hope to stay again. I am sure it will be beautiful when the fall colors come in. If you love the country cabin feel … this place is great!
