We were visiting friends in the area so didn’t spend too much time in the house other than mornings and evenings It was very peaceful and the view of the pond was just beautiful especially with the fall foliage. The large front yard was great for our active kids and there were things for them to play with as well. The rooms were comfortable and adequately furnished. It got quite chilly at night and we were able to heat the home comfortably. We loved being there and hope to return sometime in the future.

We stayed here 3 nights with our two little kids for a long weekend skiing at Butternut Ski Area. It's a 15-20 mins drive so pretty close and convenient.
Great Barrignton downtown is even closer and that worked great for us.
Kimberly (the host) was absolutely amazing. I asked for suggestions for places to eat etc and she was super helpful and nice.
The views from the house are exceptional. We stayed there in February and the lake/pond was frozen and snowy, but that didn't take away from the gorgeous views especially from the dinning room.
The kitchen was updated and had everything we needed.
Having a fireplace we could use was wonderful! We did enjoy so much cozying up on the couch with the kids and watching tv.
I'm only dropping one star as the master bedroom mattress was not comfortable, and both me and my husband didn't get a great sleep during our stay. Also the master bedroom has a very strong smell of "old house" and could use some love for sure. The curtains definitely take away from the beauty of the huge glass windows. Yes, definitely will need a way to cover up those windows at night, but please find a more "modern" way to do it :)
The bathrooms are clean and nice.
I'd definitely recommend this place 100%. I think we might be back in summer to experience the great lake views :)

2 couples stayed here for the weekend as we had tickets for Tanglewood. Very peaceful views put the large windows to a lake. Nicely renovated master bath and kitchen. Was about 30 minutes from the venue but not a bad drive. 10-15 minutes from Great Barrington a cute little town.
