The cottage was immaculate and modern. Well equipped with just about everything that you would need. No need to bring towels or linens and the ones provided were great quality. Kitchen was stocked with basic essentials. Owners were very nice and communicative. I will definitely be returning when the weather gets warmer, to enjoy the grounds. They were not kidding, it was like walking into someone else's home. It felt like we were in a place that we would own and maintain in the same fashion.

Warm and welcoming stay. Great cabin with everything we needed. Loved having the covered porch ( it was a bit too warm to use the fireplace, but would be awesome in the fall!) Beautiful setting, it was cool to see the ducks hanging out in the morning, too. Val and Ross make everything easy. We'll be back next year!

Split Creek Preserve & Resort is an absolutely spectacular place to stay! I found this place by chance when looking for places to stay in PA that were close to the vineyards that we planned to visit for our anniversary weekend. Our hosts, Ross & Valerie were incredible! They couldn't have been more welcoming, attentive or helpful. We enjoyed every conversation we had with them! They both took the time to explain how things worked in out beautiful cottage. The attention to detail in how this cottage was built & decorated was perfection right down to the flowers on the front stoop. It has to be one of the cleanest resorts that we have ever stayed in, our place was immaculate. The property that this resort is built on is breathtaking boasting babbling brooks & streams that run through it...not to mention the several ponds up front on the property home to some adorable little ducks, koi & some very large bass that all live together in harmony. If you like to hike, there are some beautiful trails to venture out on. We are looking forward to our next stay at this little piece of heaven on earth! Thank you Ross & Valerie for a wonderful getaway! We will see you soon!
