We knew we were in the right place when we arrived and were immediately greeted by a fawn. Though we surprised each other, it was a magical way to start our vacation.
I stayed here with my wife, two kids, and our 7-month-old puppy, and we had an absolutely excellent stay. The property was immaculate, the kitchen fully stocked with appliances and cookware, and the view from the back deck was breathtaking.
I made the most of it by cooking waffles one morning, and we spent many afternoons sitting outside, watching the wildlife. We saw plenty of deer and ducks—and even spotted the resident beaver on his daily commute up the canal.
The property is within walking distance of downtown and just a short drive to the beach. Great location, beautiful home, and super cozy. We’d definitely stay here again.

We had a quick trip to ocean shores and we were satisfied overall with our choice for the stay. We were well aware of the stairs, however one thing we were not aware of is that they are open to the elements and 23 (not 21 as stated) stairs straight up. We were expecting interior stairs with a landing. Upon arrival we found the keypad system tricky to figure out but once we finally did, we rarely ran into issues during our four night stay. The place is located on a primary roadway and it is not really very walkable to food, the beach, or shopping. At least not in a safe manner. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the place was, considering its age. There was a good supply of fresh clean towels. The bed setup with the one room worked well for our party of three. The living space was very comfortable. The porch overlooking the canal is amazing and our dog loved spending time out there, as did we! All things considered, any downfall I have noted is offset by the great price point. There is nothing that would stop us from considering this wonderful space again. Thank you for the ability to bring our fur baby and opening up your home.

This is a very lovely place to stay. Just beware it is a unit on the third floor, with stairs only. My husband and I are are in Our mid 70’s, but in good enough shape to handle the stairs, but I don’t remember reading anything about the difficult accessibility. I may have missed it. Other than that, the space was lovely, very clean, and fully equipped with anything needed in The kitchen. A little more direction on how to use the tv remote and attain local tv would have been good. Luckily, we were busy enough that we didn’t feel the need for the tv. .
