The house is owned by two lovely people who live on the property, so they are available for anything you might have issues with. They were so accommodating, even let us check in early so we could go get groceries.
The house was much larger than it looks from the outside or in the pictures. We had a few minor issues, but nothing life altering. The double oven is finicky (we never figured it out) and all but one of the air mattresses lost air in a few hours (as air mattresses seem to do after one use). However, they little kids didn’t seem to mind. All they cared about was the pool. The pool looked huge in the pictures, but it’s really just regular. It goes to probably 8 foot deep. The deck around the pool was where we spent most of our time. There is enough seating and tables out there to host several people. They even had a blow-up kiddie pool for the 2 year old. Plenty of shade on the deck, but also plenty of sunny spots. There is also seating on the concrete front porch for watching the sunrise.
When I say the house had everything, I mean everything except groceries. They even had ice in the deep freeze. Plenty of dishes; even plastic dishes for the kids; and coffee cups They even provided coffee and sweeteners. They left a packed goodie basket for us on arrival. There was a room off the kitchen that had toys for the kids. The laundry room has a wall unit that has more stuff. Outside, there were life jackets, pool toys, pool floats, citronella candles, and a nice grill. There were plenty of pool towels and bed linens with throws everywhere. There were outdoor toys like corn hole right inside the back door.
If it had one more bedroom, would definitely be back with both my kids and their families. We had 5 adults and 5 kids. We had plenty of room and plenty of parking. It is only a 15 minute trip to Grove, which has everything you could need. We will still come back as we loved the quiet location and house.
