We stayed for rally and it was a great location. The house had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay in Galveston so much! The house was perfect for us to have a “home base” for the week. The host was quick to respond to an email that I sent upon arrival, and we didn’t have any major issues with the house while we were there. Some of the ceiling fans didn’t seem to work, or we were not finding the correct switches (which is possible!). There were just a few cosmetic things I noticed, typical wear-and-tear on a home, high traffic kitchen floor areas, etc., but since we are a large family, I was not looking for “perfection” in that sense. My version of perfect is a comfortable living space with plenty of options for sleeping arrangements and a kitchen/dining area that is easily functional for a large family of 9 people.
This house did NOT disappoint. Great, close access to beaches, Seawall Blvd., and the downtown area/The Strand. Fun fact: I’m a knitter and crocheter, and this house is literally 4-5 blocks from the local yarn store, Joyfully Stranded Yarn and Beads! Great place!
We would definitely consider staying again!
One last note: We did experience a couple of issues with outside noise or people lingering/loitering in the neighborhood a little too long for my comfort. That said, there was no danger or harm or reason for major concern. It is just not going to be super quiet or peaceful outside the home. Inside the home was very calm, inspiring, and peaceful!

Beautiful house! It’s also really close to the beach and many other attractions . My family and I walked to the beach our entire stay! Highly recommend!
