Highly recommend! This was our second stay at the cottage and we will book again. The cottage was clean and has enough amenities that we were able to cook all our meals. It very cozy and decorated beautifully.
There was a very nice parking spot and we felt secure and safe in the area.
Check-in/Check-out was seamless, very easy and communication with the host was exceptional. We thought we left an item there and I had to contact the host and she was very prompt in a response back. The hospitality provided was very much appreciated!

Colonial City Cottage was so cozy! The place was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. When we walked in the electric fireplace was on and the little tree in the living room was lit up. There was a Keurig in the kitchen with coffee and tea pods and even creamers so you didn't need to go out for coffee. Of course, if you do, you must try the Happy Bean in town. The cottage was in walking distance to town. And even though it is in town, it was pretty quiet at night. The recliners in the living room lay all the way flat, perfect for lounging while watching a movie. The host (Sue) was very kind and communicative. We are looking forward to our next trip to Mt. Vernon and we will definitely be booking the Colonial City Cottage again!
