The cottage was very well maintained and very clean upon arrival. It was very peaceful and plenty of things to do for kids. The kids even caught a crayfish in the creek and then released it. You will not get bored at this place and the cleanliness tops it off with lots of recent updates as well 😊

This exceeded all my wants about seeing Tennessee in the snow and in the winter !!
The place was perfect in location . Not to far from both towns and not so close that we had to deal with the traffic of tourists . When we got there , we got to meet Ellen who takes care of the property and she was AMAZING. She was getting the hot tub ready because we got there in 10 degree weather and snow. I’m suspecting she was there because we got there early. Everything you can expect to need was there. Coffee , pots , dishes etc … it had a very big cozy resort feeling inside.
This place was huge , it was just me and my husband but there was rooms on top
of rooms . Tvs were everywhere ! There were also lots do around the house for all ages…
The creek in the backyard was so beautiful especially the noise. It was too cold for the fire pit and snow ( i’m a floridian ) but I can imagine the comfort and cozy in less than frigid temps
Spoke to the owners at the end of the stay and they were very kind and down to earth and I felt they just wanted to make sure our stay was great.
I know some want cabins in gatlinburg but as soon as you go in you get that feel , this was way above my wants and expectations we definitely will be back !!

The property and lay out of the house are really nice. We were a family of 12 - 8 adults and 4 children. Lots of space for games, puzzles, eating, resting. Like that every bedroom had a TV. Enjoyed the stream, fire pit and play set.
All that being said the house needs a deep cleaning: we had to have maintenance come change the furnace filter as it was soooo dirty (they did come right away after we checked in on a Saturday), the musty smells in the bedrooms and especially the master bath were very strong. The bunk room is really nice but the internet does not work in there. There is no cell service there so internet is important.
