We went for an event that we attend every year at the KOA campground about 5 miles from the cottage. This year, it was a rainy weekend and that dampened our bodies as well as our spirits, but being able to retreat to the cottage and just chill out. Our dogs enjoyed the back yard and got to see animals that they had never seen before! A farm pasture backs up to the back fence and we saw goats, cows, 2 pigs, and an EMU! We've stayed at this cottage 3 years in a row and it is perfect for us. Sharon Bass is always accommodating and does everything she can to make sure that her guests are comfortable. We appreciate her so much and hope to stay at the little Red Cottage again some time!

Such a sweet little respite in Sweetwater. Loved it. I’ll be back!
The owner is very accommodating and goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfy as possible. Plus, the backyard is fenced so it’s great for walking a little doggie. Plus, the goats out back are so interesting to watch. Not something you get to view every day.

We have just stayed a week at the sweetest little cottage ever in sweet water Tenn. This is an exceptional place to stay. We have absolutely enjoyed everything about it and definitely hope to visit again. Beautiful and clean with great views and close to everything yet far enough away to get some much needed peace and quiet of the country. The owner was always sweet and helpful.
